    President Trump says he’s working on a “very major tax cut for middle-income people.” But last year, Speaker Ryan said the Republican tax law “provides real relief to middle-income families.” Middle-class families know the GOP law wasn’t written for them.

    Last year, we predicted that Republicans would do this. It was their plan all along to give unsustainable tax cuts to the rich and then use the massive deficit that policy caused as an excuse to slash Medicare and Social Security.
