The funding package provides $674.4 billion for the DOD, of which, $45.3 billion is to get our planes back in the air, $38.2 billion to get our ships back to sea, and $11.8 billion to repair and sustain infrastructure including barracks, hangars, roads, runways, and hospitals.

I am grateful for our troops who serve fearlessly to serve and protect our country. After nine years of stopgap spending, the Republican Congress has fulfilled their duty to provide the necessary spending to rebuild and maintain our armed forces.
