  5. Talk about a job killer – ’s rollback of fuel efficiency standards could cost 60,000 jobs. It’s bad enough this proposal pushes us further toward unchecked but it also undermines our economy.

  6. On Monday, 17 people were trapped for an hour in an elevator at the Clark Street station. This morning I joined to call on NYC and state to fast track the replacement of these elevators. This should never happen in New York City.

  7. In early September, I sent a letter to urging extension of & FFB program which is key to protecting & promoting affordable housing in NYC. We've just received word the program will be extended through the year. Proud to have played a part.

  10. Seaboard Marine in Red Hook is helping to utilize our City’s waterways to transport freight all while creating well-paying jobs along the way. Great to join their celebration of a 10 year partnership with Red Hook Container Terminal and look forward to many more years.

  11. Buddy Scotto is a longtime friend and an institution in Carroll Gardens. Indeed many of us know him as the unofficial Mayor of Carroll Gardens. I was honored to present him with a Congressional Record to celebrate his 90th birthday!

  12. In his resignation letter, Seth Frotman alleges that under Mulvaney has abandoned its mission of protecting consumers, including students. I’m joining in demanding the Financial Services Committee get to bottom of these failures by opening an investigation.
