Had a great time last night performing the coin toss as the Grissom High School Tigers took on the Florence High School Falcons. Enjoyed visiting with coaches, players, & dedicated fans for both teams before the game, & wish them well as they continue their seasons.

Enjoyed visiting today with students at my alma mater, Grissom High School. I was impressed by the insightful questions and unique perspectives of these young people. A special thanks to Grissom JROTC for the cool signed t-shirt and the nice commemorative coin.

Congressman Mo Brooks returns to the Grissom basketball court today! He was on Grissom’s first basketball team in 1969-1970! He came to speak to students about issues facing the country.

For the first time in a decade, the United States ranks #1 in the World Economic Forum’s annual global competitiveness survey. The Forum cites the United States’ “vibrant” entrepreneurial culture & “strong” labor market & financial system for our return to #1.

Happy 243rd birthday to the U.S. Navy! The strength of the Navy rests not only in its number of ships & the deadliness of its weapons, but, more so, in the dedication & bravery of the men & women who proudly serve.

Wonderful news! I was pleased to join 153 of my House colleagues in sending a letter to President Erdogan in May demanding the release of Pastor Brunson, & I applaud the strong advocacy of on Pastor Brunson's behalf that has finally resulted in his release.

Martha & I have enjoyed spending much of this week in Washington with sightseers from the Tennessee Valley. It’s been great showing folks around the Capitol & White House, & we hope all the groups & families have a memorable rest of their visit to Washington, D.C.
