The ADAPT Act was included in the final passage of the 21st Century Cures Act and signed into law by President Obama in 2016 (photo attached). Earlier this morning I stopped by Gallegos Elementary in the East End to read my favorite book "House Mouse, Senate Mouse" to a group of fourth graders. They enjoyed the book and had the opportunity to ask me questions. I'm going to miss this part of the job.
