    A special story from the . Wishing a very happy 95th birthday today to Pearl Harbor survivor Hiram “Pete” Cartee of Augusta, Ga., a veteran of both the and the . Thank you, Mr. Cartee, for your service!

    Hiram "Pete" Cartee spent his 18th birthday at Pearl Harbor, seven weeks before the 1941 attack. He'll spend his 95th birthday Wednesday in Augusta.
