Does this include the underemployed, those who have given up looking, and those no longer counted?
-
As an economic standard measure, unemployment only includes active job seekers.
-
Cornyn will never admit that.
-
Does it also take into account how many jobs it takes to make ends meet?
-
No, because “ends meet” is not a clearly defined measure.

At the very least, it has been agreed rent shouldn’t be more than 1/3 of income. How many people pay more than that?
-
Rent control is an unrelated topic to unemployment.

Who cares when wages are so low & RNC TAX SCAM INFLATION is killing us?Money hoarders having low pay employees isn't a sign of a great economy. The U.S. Middle class is starting to collect food stamps.Tell me again about the RNC's plan for healthcare savings plans in lieu of ACA.

Almost@all new jobs are low hourly wage jobs. I’ve never known Republicans to ever help working class. In any way. Certainly not healthcare or livable wage

Sad that at 71, I had to go back to work for us to make ends meet. A pension that hasn’t seen an increase in 13 years, plus my social security, isn’t enough to live on. You are so out of touch with us peasants I’m almost embarrassed for you!

But we also need our wages to increase! Wages have been stagnant and people are struggling. Employers are not sharing their huge revenues with the workers! We need a new labor movement in this country!

In a majority of states teachers salaries are still not up to pre-recession rates...including Texas
