    My heart goes out to Lt. Col. Nehring’s family & the 144th Fighter Wing. Lt. Col. Nehring is an American hero. When such tragedy strikes, we must reflect on the sacrifices of our military men, women, & families. I offer my deepest sympathies.

    We must support our young people as they work to achieve their goals. Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet w/ some of our driven high schoolers & their dedicated mentors at to discuss how we can best support them in their aspirations to go to college & beyond.
