How about America follows the lead of India, who allows generic drug companies to create any drug? How many lives are we going to sacrifice on the altar of corporate profits? Profits don't create new drugs - researchers, grad students, scientists, & engineers do. Fund research!

This isnt intended to be a partisan question. I am seriously curious how providing a WAC price will tell people how much their drugs cost. Patients are typically neither directly paying for their drugs nor prescribing them. Nor is the WAC necessarily the price of a drug.
