    I joined the KS delegation in sending a letter the FFC chairman urging him to restore certainty to the Universal Service Fund High Cost Program which supports rural broadband. It's time to close the digital divide between rural and urban America.

    I am proud of the women who have served in the military to defend their country, and I am pleased to see the Topeka VA has opened a new women’s center. We need to make sure we are offering the best care to our veterans, both men and women.

    Happy to the folks who work hard to provide healthy, quality food for us all. I am always amazed at the hard work demonstrated by the farmers in . They care about the food they grow, the livestock they raise & the land they farm on. Thank you!

    We are grateful for your efforts to protect and support those affected by mental illness, . Your voice has been especially powerful as we work to end the stigma of mental health.

    For far too long, we have been afraid of speaking out about mental health, which hurts our ability to seek help when we need it. On , it’s important that we keep the conversation going because mental health matters for each one of us.

    H.R. 3331 is aimed at closing the digital divide between behavioral healthcare and other areas of care. This legislation helps bring mental health and addiction treatment into the 21st century. I’m pleased this bill passed the House as part of a larger opioid package.
