As a young man, Mr. Mueller served with distinction in the Vietnam War and was awarded a Bronze Star, 2 Navy Commendation Medals, the Purple Heart and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry for his leadership and exemplary service.

The whole thing says the same thing. Changes nothing. Lawlessness is not accepted, not violation of government laws, borders or moral law, period. Only Christ saves our tukkus from hell for it, we are all guilty of violating laws in life moral or otherwise.
