America must stop refueling Saudi planes & providing munitions used to support apparent Saudi war crimes in Yemen. Congressional scrutiny & other actions necessary, ASAP.

Mounting bipartisan consensus—American cannot be silent or inactive given Saudi criminality. Trump administration must heed strong voices on both sides of the aisle in Congress.

Stop worrying about something nobody in CT cares about and do your job. Where's Joe Lieberman when you need him. Boy he was great for CT. He wasn't a grandstanding egotistical political crony
-
Blumenthal is doing his job, holding this lying president accountable.

What if Trump directly or indirectly endorsed their actions? Trump has expressed his anger with reporters who criticize him. What if the Saudi’s were carrying out Trump’s will? We have a President who does not want a “free press”.
-
As terrible as this sounds, I would not be the least surprised to learn that Donald Trump was fully informed and invested in this murder. It fits with what he's been saying and doing since he was elected. It just does.

Both the Saudis & Trump weren't expecting the international outrage - but the murder is still very much headline news here in the UK, & will undoubtedly remain there until there's an international investigation.
-
Agreed, and that is a frightening undiscussed fact.
#Trump seems to fine with Embassies and Consulates being used for authoritarian and criminal purposes. -
So Trump was fine with that? Then why did he send his Secretary of State to confront the Saudis?
-
Confront?? I didn't see any confrontation in Pompeo's visit with MBS. It looked oh-so-friendly to me.
-
You have no idea what was said/discussed do you? Neither do I. But, the truth is the Saudis are looking into it and have arrested 18 individuals. How long did it take the US to investigate Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse in Iraq?
-
I saw video of MP and MBS with relaxed posture and smiles. That's what I saw. If he'd gone there to deliver a stiff message, body language would have been entirely different. And besides, it fits with the BS Trump has tried to sell re this atrocity. Surely you're not that naive.
-
Or maybe you are.

Wonder how much personal money the Saudis and Putin have invested in the Trump/Kushner personal business' ? The Republicans in Congress refuse to call Trumps crimes to task? We need a record turnout on NOV. 6th and Vote Blue up and down the ballot.pic.twitter.com/X1nIgSycZm

Let’s request his remains be returned to his fiancé and family for a proper burial and to pay their respects. If it really was an “accident”(it wasn’t) they should want to do the honorable thing for his loved ones.
