And this is why fossil fuel money funds the Supreme Court nominations operation: just for moments like this. Let’s hope this doesn’t end up on the list of over 70 partisan 5-4 big political wins already delivered by the “Roberts Five.”

They wanted me to understand that their own memories were bright shards just like Dr. Blasey Ford’s memories, that I should believe her, and that they wanted this to be a turning point. Many had kept secret for years, even decades

The port is thriving and these improvements will benefit ’s fishing and marine trade industries. Rhode Island is lucky to have the ports, the people, and the infrastructure necessary to catch and prepare some of the best seafood in the world.

Good advice for the Court. But can the activists restrain themselves? So far, there’s little evidence of restraint where big Republican interests are involved.

My breakthrough bipartisan ocean plastics bill, recently signed into law by Trump, is a beachhead. Bipartisan Senate work—even an EPW hearing—on next steps has already begun. We know far too little ab what this does in our human food chain, for instance.

The only responsible & legally correct thing for the to do is to withdraw this scientifically unsupported proposed rule. This is another example of how this agency bows down to the industries it’s supposed to regulate.

Republicans & aren’t done gunning for the health care law & now they’re coming for & . They blew a $2T hole in the budget with their massive tax cut bill for the rich; now they want to take basic health care away from millions of Americans to pay for it.

This excellent article is buttressed by an added point: the fossil fuel industry protects a massive subsidy ($700B/yr in U.S. per IMF). So there’s not a level economic field for ; they have to fight uphill against an entrenched incumbent.

Happy talk is one thing. The test will be what he does about the 73-decision partisan romp his “Roberts 5” took the Court on, in service to big interests. That’s a little hard to explain as “balls and strikes.”

Perhaps Roberts can then explain the 73 decisions in which he led the appointees to deliver 5-4 partisan victories serving powerful R interests. 73 is a lot. The pattern is damning. Talking about independence doesn’t cut it, not w that record.
