In 2015, Brett delivered a speech at Catholic University titled “The Judge As Umpire,” outlining what he believes makes a good judge. He fails his own test. Here is Brett Kavanaugh on why Brett Kavanaugh shouldn’t be on the Supreme Court:

Five deaths at the Tina Lane and Birnie Road rail crossing is five too many. I’m proud to have helped secure this critical federal funding and hasten the project’s approval to ensure we make lifesaving improvements to this crossing as soon as possible.

The Trump admin’s priority shouldn’t be giving the Saudis “a few more days” to invent a narrative about what happened to . It should be calling for a truly impartial investigation. A UN-appointed team of criminal investigators would be a good start to finding the truth.

In 2018, children’s data is a prized commodity worth billions of dollars. Companies today do not consider kids out of bounds, so we need an updated constitution for children’s privacy – both on and offline.

Mitch McConnell called the defeat of the Affordable Care Act’s repeal “the one disappointment of this Congress from a Republican point of view.” He’s in for a rude awakening if he thinks Americans will stand idly by as Republicans attempt to steal their health care.

Americans deserve fully-funded Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security both because living with dignity should be a right, and because workers *earn* these benefits. They’re not privileges. Republicans will try to steal them if they retain Congress.

By believing Saudi’s story on , Donald Trump is sending a message to authoritarians around the world that they can act with impunity. America must send the message that we will forcefully defend our values, if necessary through sanctions and canceled arms deals.

Yesterday, we found out that the increased the federal deficit by 17%, exploding to over $1 trillion next year. Republicans didn’t even wait a full day before using that as an excuse to destroy Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. This was their plan all along.

Jamal will help reveal Mohammed bin Salman for who he really is: an authoritarian, not a reformer. His death, the latest and most brazen in a well-documented history of the Saudis violently repressing dissent, must be a turning point in our relationship.

We should not be selling the Saudis weapons that they use to repress democratic values and commit war crimes in Yemen, nor nuclear technology when they’ve declared their intent to pursue nuclear weapons. Our arms deal and nuclear power negotiations should be immediately canceled.

Trump accepting Saudi Arabia’s story without a thorough, independent investigation only enables authoritarian behavior, as I warned with 22 of my colleagues last week. needs to make clear the U.S. will not accept anti-democratic behavior.

“I’m not denying climate change, but it could very well go back.” – Donald Trump, denying climate change. The just told us we don’t have time to hope and see if the climate will just “change back again.” We need immediate and transformational action.
