    Started the day back at my alma mater, , discussing the incredible work community colleges do to prepare students. Did you know community colleges are often only a third of the cost of four-year colleges and are attended by more than 12 million students each year?

    [Public Safety Power Shutoff Update] As of 9:30pm, +38k customers restored in North Bay & Sierra Foothills. We expect to restore all customers by Tues. We don’t have specific times, but we will be communicating that as we continue to make progress on our safety inspections.

    UPDATE: Latest info from PG&E indicates that the power shutoffs planned for tonight do NOT currently impact customers residing within Santa Rosa city limits. At this time, the potential areas for power shutoffs include the unincorporated areas of NE & eastern Sonoma County.

    Update on offshore winds: Peak winds today have been atop Mt. Diablo (62 mph) and also Mt. St. Helena (50-55 mph). Second graphic shows observed wind gusts in the North Bay early Sun. evening. Strongest wind gusts (~50 mph) in the hills near the Sonoma/Napa/Lake Co. line.
