I don’t have kids, a small business, etc. I have large medical deductions, a mortgage and SALT. Lost my one and only personal deduction. My CPA already told me I would pay more. Why do Republicans hate single folks making between $50-60 K?

They hate you because you aren't giving them enough money.

How is it paid for? Who shoulders the load from 2019 onward.. Keep reading the script Karen... Maybe taking an Econ class will help as well.

So far this year with the cuts, individuals are paying in more, corporations are paying in a lot less, and the deficit is a lot higher. You are coming after Medicare and Social Security after the mid terms to pay for these unnecessary tax cuts. You just aren't admitting it.

Congresswoman, are you saying that the real wage growth statistics being released by the Department of Labor are being falsified to show basically zero real wage growth in the last year?

Oh good grief! For those few people in middle class, any tax savings is eaten away by higher gas, medical and interest costs.

It’s not that it ONLY benefits the rich; it disproportionately benefits them. If I get an extra $15/week in my paycheck I’m technically benefiting, but the multimillionaires & billionaires among us are getting much heftier benefits that they don’t even necessarily need.

It’s not a myth that my taxes will go up because of it. It’s not a myth that many Americans wages are stagnant, and it’s overwhelmingly helping the top 1% and hurt a lot of middle class Americans. But we aren’t your donors, that’s Sheldon Adelson, Robert Mercer, and the Kochs.

Are you going to explain that to the thousands getting laid off from Ford? Or the farmers of middle America? Or the elderly living in their home that the can no long write off taxes? Can you explain that at one of your town hall meetings please? Oh right you don’t do them!!

Got it. This PowerPoint presentation is NOT a myth. Everyone is doing great no matter what their reality is. Quick question: Why is everything more expensive if we're winning so much? All those imagined higher wages just go to higher cost goods.

This is awful and misleading. Most of these are unrelated facts or they are from a hack of a source.

I calculated I’m getting $1.30 increase per bi-weekly check, my insurance costs went up, instead of annual merit raises the entire company got 2% (vs the expected 3 or 4%). So... it’s not a myth. 2018 was literally a worse financial year than 2017 for me

Yeah, and screw our kids and grandkids who will have to pay the bill. Seriously, that was the absolute wrong time for the tax cut scam.

You know what’s also growing at the fastest rate since 2009? INFLATION! And it’s growing faster than wages, so...yeah, you’re lying again.
