I believe: Children should not be separated from parents. Opportunity should not depend on where you were born. Rights do not depend on zip code. Your future wealth should not be determined by your parents' wealth. Rule of law does not only apply to some.

"The Justice Department told a federal court in June that it would no longer defend provisions in the Affordable Care Act that protect patients with pre-existing medical conditions." - , 9/21/18 Oh, and Republicans voted over SIXTY times to repeal ACA w/out a replacement

Greater access to birth control - thanks in large part to the ACA - has dropped teen and unintended pregnancy rates to historic lows. Birth control is healthcare & I'm fighting for the ACA, Title X, and other programs that help women access it.

Science isn't instinct. It's testing, observing, and analyzing. It's making a conclusion based on data, not politics. It's everything Trump isn't. I'll leave the truth on climate change to the many experts in our district and around the world.

20 million people who didn’t have healthcare are now covered. People with pre-ex conditions are now covered. All thanks to the . But Republicans are STILL trying to repeal the ACA. We should be strengthening the law, not sabotaging it.

Access to healthcare, fair pay, the ability to serve our country, or the right to be a family are LGBTQ issues too. I'm proud to fight for equality, and proudly wear this 100 on the from as a badge of honor!

. McConnell wants cut "Medicare, Medicaid + Social Security in order to pay for federal deficit that has grown 77% under his watch.... If Republicans cared so much abt deficit, they never should've passed these tax cuts, which were always projected to explode deficit."

Stephen Miller wants to make immigrants choose: America, or their children. We know there shouldn't be a choice. Any policy that forces parents to be separated from their children is cruel & without merit.

How to scam the American people: 1) Claim tax cuts for the rich will lower the deficit 2) Pass tax cuts for the rich that actually raise the deficit w/out helping middle class 3) Use the deficit you created as an excuse to cut Medicare and Social Security benefits.

Proud to join ’s bill that would defund ’s proposed public charge rule. This proposed rule seeks to deny green cards to immigrants who lawfully use public benefits. This is wrong.

Day should be a day of pride. But still, too many policies - like the hateful trans ban in the military - make our loved ones feel shamed and unwelcome. It's on us each of us to create an environment of love & support for all.

Today’s 2.8% COLA increase is good news for seniors, survivors & people w/ disabilities who have earned Social Security benefits. That’s why I’m a founding member of Caucus to strengthen Social Security for all!

In his war on immigrants, Trump has imprisoned children away from their parents. Now, he wants to make it harder for them to get food or healthcare through his public charge rule. My bill would prevent us from spending even $1 on that cruel policy.

Mental health is no different than our physical health. Sometimes we get ill, but there's always help. I'm working to end the stigma that leads people to suffer alone - especially in the community. Nobody should go without care.

If you pay the President enough money, he'll ask the Prime Minister of Japan to give you a casino deal. Trump's not a public servant, he's a lobbyist for the ultra-wealthy. Where are the investigations into this misuse of government power?

Sadder than his naive acceptance of the most absurd conspiracy theories he hears on Fox is the fact that Republicans think the only way we could be opposed to sexual assault is if somebody pays us. Republicans don't get it, and by "it", I mean that we are done excusing assault.
