Rational voters are trying to rid themselves of Republican partisanship, corruption, lying and flagrant disregard for constituency. A vote for a republican is a vote against your own healthcare, a vote to give corporations the retirement you've paid into your working career.

From the article: “The impact of the tax cut (raising the deficit) is only expected to grow in future years, according to the Congressional Budget Office, despite false claims by Republicans that the tax cuts would pay for themselves through greater economic growth.”
-
Remember when Paul Ryan and other Reps pushing the tax plan, repeatedly said they thought the CBO was wrong on their estimates, because they were off in the past? Seems they were right! The GOP tax cut didn’t pay for itself. The rich got richer, middle class getting screwed.

It's called mathematics. Entitlements are a significant portion of the debt...

The GOP, after dismantling the ACA’s individual mandate, is now stating that they will defend those with preexisting conditions. Yet I haven’t heard a plan from you or other Republicans. What is your plan? No platitudes please.

When is this supposed to pay for itself again? We are not going to risk our SS and Medicare on any more Republican lies. “Entitlement” reform has always been a Republican wet dream and you know it.

I hope everyone reads the article. The author says although Republicans have repeatedly driven up debt through tax cuts and pushed for cuts to Medicare, SS, and Medicaid, they can’t do it without bipartisan support so the claim is false.

Having passed their tax bill, top Republican leaders have already identified the next frontier for 2018: a push to enact sweeping budget cuts on programs the poorest Americans depend on.https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vox.com/platform/amp/policy-and-politics/2017/12/18/16741730/gop-agenda-medicare-social-security …

See, that’s the funny thing, Steve. It’s easy for us to find the video of your leadership saying that the tax cuts for the rich would pay for themselves. Now the deficit is $780B, headed to $1T. You really miscalculated that one, eh???
-
Were you crying on Twitter when
#worstPOTUSever Barack Hussein Obama racked up more debt than every previous POTUS combined? -
Pretty funny, Jack. Is it really that easy to forget what a nightmare The Shrub was to the debt? You know, starting a war that has lasted 15 yrs and all of that messy business? Shrub got handed a surplus before he blew the top off of the deficit for decades to come, yes?
