It’s time to get billionaires off of welfare. Billionaire owners, not middle class taxpayers, should be responsible for making sure their workers earn a living wage. If we want our economy to grow, we have to make sure working people are paid what they deserve for their labor.

It's unfathomable to think that a Michigan judge, or any judge, could conclude that students don't have a right to literacy. How can underprivileged students hope to pull themselves out of poverty without having a quality education? We must do better.

Secretary Ross misled Congress regarding citizenship on the census. He said it was the Justice Department that pushed for the question, but it was him. Asking whether or not a resident is a citizen is clearly a way of targeting immigrants.

When Anita Hill told her story, the Senate didn’t listen. We cannot make that same mistake with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Her story, her voice, deserve to be heard. The Senate MUST . Her allegations need to be investigated.

We shouldn't be privatizing Social Security or cutting it at all - we should be expanding it so that all Americans can live and retire with dignity. I'm proud to be a founding member of the Expand Social Security Caucus.

American bombs are being dropped on innocent civilians in Yemen and we are fueling the planes that drop these bombs. The American people know far too little about the role we are playing in a war that is causing suffering for millions of people.

THREAD -- How can someone look at these photos and continue to support this war in Yemen? While this reporting just confirms what we already knew, seeing the photos of these U.S.-made bombs should be a wake-up call to all Americans.
