You mean, like how you reached out to Republicans when passing Obamacare to begin with?
-
-
-
Even if that is true (it’s not - if anything, Obama was naive about R’s working with him), that’s not the point: R’s want to remove protection for pre-existing conditions. Period.
-
So why should a person w/o a pre-existing condition have his-her coverage more expensive just to cover someone else’s? Penalizing healthy people is prejudicial.
-
Because a preexisting condition could be anything for anyone. Acne. Pregnancy. Nothing to do sometimes with being healthy or with a healthy lifestyle. And it’s why we have insurance in the first place.
-
I don’t have health insurance thanks to Obamacare. I can’t afford it. Return it to the private sector and de-regulate, so insurers can compete across state lines and pass the savings onto the consumer. Then, we’ll have insurance for all.
-
They have been able to sell across state lines for a long time- researched it.
-
Why don’t you cite it?
-
Used reference sources at the library so don’t have a link. Lots of good material on how insurance is supposed to work.

Please tell us how you like your obamacare? Oh, that’s right you made sure you’re not stuck with horrible insurance you’re trying to stick us with! Why?

DeGette wants you to believe that Obamacare is affordable... it isn’t. I’ve gone without insurance for three years, but expected through IRS penalties to pay for others, including non-citizens. Ask Diana that if Obamacare was so good, why did Congress exempt themselves?

I’m a type 1 diabetic. Since the passage of the ACA, my premiums have tripled, the cost of my insulin had tripled, and my deductibles have doubled. You’re a liar.
