    We must hold the leaders of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras accountable for the wellbeing of their people. That’s why I’ve been introducing the Unaccompanied Alien Children Assistance Control Act since July 2014.

    America’s foreign aid funds are much better spent helping to build a better life for children in these Central American countries than caring for them in HHS-ORR shelters once they reach our border. For things to change, we must act.

    President is on the right track. To break this cycle, we must end the status quo. There’s a Burgess bill for that -->

    We have today informed the countries of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador that if they allow their citizens, or others, to journey through their borders and up to the United States, with the intention of entering our country illegally, all payments made to them will STOP (END)!
