Ms. Bass and Mr.Smith can really save lives by calling for Cameroon to stop refusing and grant the UN’s OHCHR access to investigate reports of international crimes. This will have a deterring effect and open the door for possible resolution of the conflict. #StopCameroonviolationspic.twitter.com/QtUjLtfe8J

CONCERN #1:Where has it been documented that armed separatists have killed women and children? We have been following coverage of this conflict with intense scrutiny, both through sources we trust and sources that we find highly problematic (for example: https://bit.ly/2zQ2ev2 pic.twitter.com/IuWe83P9K3
-
CONCERN #2: This demand reflects a highly problematic internal inconsistency within your argument. You begin this resolution by stating that you want all parties to “adopt nonviolent approaches to conflict resolution.

Thanks Ma'am but unfortunately your report did not consider the
#RootCause of this conflict which is the NON implementation of#UNRes1608, the main cause of contention. For 57y dialogue and cosmetic solutions have proven worthless. Only lasting solutions can resolve this conflict -

The pple tried protesting but since in Cameroun, no protest is allowed, they were met with brutality. Since then the military has gone on a rampage with their officials calling anglophones "dogs", "cockroaches" etc. The pple were forced to pick up anything to defend themselves

A people cannot be governed against their will. This crisis has persisted for too long & many lives lost, the destruction of Southern Cameroon by the Biya regime is beyond measure. You can't kill, rape, torture people you want to live with? How is that possible

Thank you Madam for your great efforts. There is only a solution with the incarcerated leaders in prison. They must be freed first.

Honorable Bass, one party to the conflict, the government has long shun dialogue and took to killings and burning of villages of English-speaking Cameroonians. The situation has escalated beyond calls for dialogues and only intervention would solve it to say the truth. Thanks.
