We will use every resource we can as we recover from the destruction Hurricane Michael left in its wake. We will not waver, and we will not stop fighting. We will recover, and we will do it by working together.

On Veterans Day, our nation comes together to honor those who bravely served our country. Today, take a moment to remember their service and thank an American hero for their sacrifice for FL families. We can never say enough about how grateful we are for our military & veterans.

Power has been restored to every family and business in the Panhandle who lost power and are able to receive it. This is great news for our communities impacted by Hurricane Michael. Thank you to the more than 19,000 utility workers who helped make this restoration possible!

Fact: FEMA will NEVER ask property owners to evict current occupants. We work together with state officials to find temporary housing solutions to meet the needs of survivors. Property owners can submit available sites for consideration here:

Myth: FEMA is asking owners of RV parks to evict current tenants to make room for disaster survivors. FACT: FEMA is working with the state of FL to locate available spaces to place travel trailers but never asks owners to evict current occupants. FEMA Seal in bottom right corner
