    Latinas make 53 cents for every $1 paid to white men. Equal pay is as much a fairness issue as it is an economic issue. That’s why I’ve encouraged my colleagues in Congress to support legislation to ensure for equal work & reflect our beliefs in opportunity & equality.

    Not only has Lorenzo’s family farm played an integral role in our community’s food system for over 300 years, but the farm offers learning opportunities for young people who are interested in agriculture and farming as a career and calling. 2/
