.@SenBobCorker @JeffFlake @SenSasse you 3 speak out against Trump, many times. We no longer need your tweets, we need your "No's" Not only are there many red flags against #Kavanaugh, why should a Potus, an unindicted co-conspirator in 2 crimes, be allowed to appoint anyone?

Impressed with this
#StopKavanaugh edit: "Kavanaugh was a...Republican activist lawyer, whose ultimate professional aim was to advance the interests of the Republican Party....he fanned right wing conspiracy theories...."https://crooked.com/article/brett-kavanaughs-bad-faith/ … -
Seriously, guys, who wants this guy with so many questions surrounding his ass? Is anybody home? Is there anybody out there? Pink Floyd The Wall - Is There Anybody Out There? https://youtu.be/Pr-JoqFVC5E via

@ Nancy Bowman - agree, good article. But there's so much more bad stuff about Kavanaugh not included in the article. For example, blocking a criminal investigation of Rep Tom Feeney, cited by CREW as "the most corrupt" congressman.https://twitter.com/jennycohn1/status/1038151621929099264 …

Just saw some of that. The forced elective surgeries for disabled people is a disqualifier too. Then, I understand Feinstein has info that she's holding onto about some sort of high school abuse scandal.
-
Yeah. If that was anything, it wouldn't have come out sooner. But, you should totally hold your breath.
-
There is SO much negative stuff on Kavanaugh that decisions were made on what to focus on. The forced surgeries, defense of Rep Feeney etc was out there in the press for years. That such a flawed candidate was nominated is just stunning.

Thank you,
@SenAngusKing: The Code of Conduct for Judges require Brett Kavanaugh to recuse himself from ruling on any matter involving the Mueller Investigation & his refusal to commit to recusal "is extremely troubling." See Sen King's statement for other reasons he voted NO!pic.twitter.com/QujMvjS5ys -
Gorsuch should recuse too since he was appointed by trump?

Have you seen what your fellow Maine senator has said about people pledging to donate to and vote for her opposition if she votes yes?
-
Thank you, btw. It's good to know I have at least one Senator I can count on.
-
@ChrisAlbertoLaw The irony is that even if Kav goes down, they just ram thru Sen. Lee or Coney Barrett thru on a voice vote before November. It's only Kav's views on executive privilege that got him the nom, on almost everything else the practical effects will be the same. -
Brett Kavanaugh is not only dishonest the evid. also shows that dishonesty springs from an effort to conceal a radical right-wing agenda he seeks to impose on our Republic. See evid. provided by David Brock, a conservative activist, who knows Kavanaugh https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/i-knew-brett-kavanaugh-during-his-years-republican-operative-don-ncna907391 … …pic.twitter.com/QgJLhGc74d

Why don't you just admit that you are voting no because the leaders of your party want you to vote no. Because if you really reviewed his record, you would see that his judicial philosophy is to follow the law and judicial precedent.
-
He's an Independent, genius.
-
it is basically his party. The nonpartisan National Journal gave him a 2013 composite ideology score of 59% liberal. King votes with the majority of Democrats about 90% of the time, and he was a life long Dem before becoming an "independent".
-
How he aligns himself is secondary to how he is registered. He is an Independent.
-
Who cares how he is registered. What matters is how he votes & he votes with, and follows the lead of, Democrats. The Dems are voting No on Kav and he is following suit with the same "reason" as the Dem party line.
-
As a lifetime Independent myself I can tell you WHY King has voted often w/ Democrats: The GOP has devolved into a corrupt bunch of cheaters w/ no ethics & no intelligence who are destroying our democracy. I don’t vote GOP anymore either & the MAJORITY of Am ppl now oppose GOP.
-
I am sorry your views have been so corrupted by the left that you are unable to see the truth.
-
I am a registered Republican and have been for 40 years. Your boy is a corrupt, ill-intentioned, man. I am sorry that you are blind to that. Truly. I will not blindly follow because I am told to. I research the issues, not just listen to Fox and Friends.
