    My colleagues and I wrote to the CEOs of 5 corps & demanded an explanation for the soaring cost of Rx drugs. All 5 companies benefited from huge GOP tax giveaways & publicly-funded research but continue to make drugs too unaffordable to use. Read our letter to ⬇️

    America has made commitments to teachers, police, nurses and nonprofit workers to assist with their education. It’s wrong to bail on them, .

    The Saudi monarchy has conducted a brutal war in Yemen that has created a humanitarian catastrophe. They torture those who they believe to be dissidents, like Jamal Khassoggi, and treat women as second-class citizens. We should not aid and abet this malign behavior.

    I've cosponsored H.R. 7070, a bipartisan bill that would prohibit arms sales and security assistance to Saudi Arabia unless Secretary Pompeo certifies that the Saudi Arabian government did not order the death of Jamal Khassoggi.

    The Trump administration refuses to provide answers about the Saudi monarchy’s involvement in the killing of Jamal Khashoggi so Congress must act to ensure the President’s personal business interests have not overruled America’s values and priorities.

    Congress must take proactive steps to stop this plan from gaining any steam. That’s why I’ve signed on to bills and supported amendments to prohibit the Trump administration from exploiting our coastal waters.

    I have yet to see a plan that confirms what Secretary Zinke told me in April. Anything less than no drilling in the Gulf of Maine is unacceptable.
