    Latinas make 53 cents for every $1 paid to white men. Equal pay is as much a fairness issue as it is an economic issue. That’s why I’ve encouraged my colleagues in Congress to support legislation to ensure for equal work & reflect our beliefs in opportunity & equality.

    My office hosted an Student Internship Info Fair last night & there was a great turnout! Our national & defense labs, in addition to local companies, are working to provide internships to NM student that create real-world learning opportunities while advancing our national goals.
