    In August, there more job openings than workers even looking for jobs. Gone are the days of gloomy reports of unemployment and an economy stuck in neutral. The economy is booming, and we need to keep moving forward with the Republican pro-growth agenda.

    Virginia is under a flash flood watch because of Hurricane Michael. Heavy rain is expected. If you’re in a place prone to flash floods, particularly areas of poor drainage and near creeks, streams and ditches, please take precaution and seek higher ground if needed.

    Good news for Virginian seniors from Washington. The Know the Lowest Price Act was signed into law by the president this week. Drug pricing should not be distorted by big pharmaceutical companies. With this new law, we are pushing back.
