  12. October is Manufacturing Month! I met with local leaders from ABB, Trane, Mars, and the Fort Smith Chamber to discuss projects and workforce development. I’m proud of the strong manufacturing sector. Let’s keeping growing opportunity in our district.

  13. I visited Glatfelter and saw the behind the scenes operations. Watched as materials were turned into wet wipes and other products. It's always interesting to see how things are made! Management also commented on the caliber & skill of our local workforce. Awesome work in !

  18. Have you ever wondered how the plastic packaging for certain items you buy at the store is made? I recently toured Arkansas Poly in Van Buren & saw the manufacturing process from start to finish. Amazing to see the work being done in that impacts consumers across the US.
