Saturday Classes for Researchers

Research orientation classes, taught by reference librarians and dealing with many aspects of using the Library and the collections will now be taught on Saturdays. The Saturday orientations are themed and focus on providing researchers an opportunity to learn more about the Library, its collections, expertise, services, and programs.

Saturday Morning Research Orientations 10:00-11:30 am:

January 5 - General Research Orientation
January 12 - Local History & Genealogy
January 19 - Business Reference Services

February 2 - General Research Orientation
February 9 - Local History & Genealogy
February 16 - Manuscript Division

March 2 - Local History & Genealogy
March 9 - General Research Orientation
March 30 - Manuscript Division

April 6 - Local History & Genealogy
April 13 - General Research Orientation
April 27 - Asian Division

Classes are held in Room 139B of the Jefferson Building. For sessions held in other areas of the Library, the class will meet in Room 139B and will be led to another area by a librarian.
