What We Do
From our offices in Bothell, Washington, and Anchorage, Alaska, FEMA Region 10 works with the emergency management agencies of the Pacific Northwest, including:

- Idaho's Bureau of Homeland Security,
- Oregon's Office of Emergency Management,

(The FEMA Region 10 Alaska Area Office serves as a forward field office for pre-disaster preparedness and planning, as well as a staging and work area for Preliminary Damage Assessment teams. FEMA staff are joined by uniformed Defense Coordinating Element personnel. The office was opened on July 9, 2007 and is located in the Anchorage Federal Building Annex.)
