Compliance Assistance Resources

The U.S. Department of Labor has created a suite of compliance assistance resources to provide clear, accurate, and accessible information on a number of Federal laws. The goal of these sites is to ensure the workers and employers understand their rights and responsibilities in the workplace. In addition to the laws administered and enforced by the Labor Department, these resources include information on the laws administered and enforced by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Labor Relations Board. Please note that these sites are not intended to be comprehensive. The suite of compliance assistance resources includes:

Worker.gov

Worker.gov was created to provide information about workers' rights and common workplace concerns. It addresses topics such as wage rights, rights for a safe and healthy workplace, equality rights, rights to organize with coworkers, and the rights of veterans and service members.

Employer.gov

Employer.gov was created to provide information about the responsibilities of job creators toward their workers. It answers common questions about pay and benefits, providing a safe and healthy workplace, required workplace posters, the responsibilities of small businesses and Federal contractors and subcontractors, and the employment of veterans and service members.
