Controlled Unclassified Information

Plans the administration of VA’s Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) program as as outlined in President Obama’s January 21, 2009 memorandum to the heads of Executive departments and agencies, and the November 4, 2010, Executive Order 13556 "Controlled Unclassified Information. The CUI program standardizes the way the Executive branch handles information that requires such protection but is not classified.
