ICJI is accepting applications through 12 noon Eastern on Friday, Dec. 6 for Non-Motorist Grants and through 12 noon Eastern on Monday, Dec. 10 for Distracted Driving Grants covering the federal fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2019. To apply for ICJI funding opportunities that began after July 1, 2018, register in IntelliGrants, our new grants-management system, and subscribe for email or text-message notices. ICJI recommends that subgrantees review IntelliGrants training material before logging in for the first time. Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) instructor training will be held Dec. 10-14 and March 11-15, 2019 at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Training Academy. SFST Instructor Refresher Training will be held Friday, Dec. 14 at the IMPD Training Academy. Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) School will be held March 11-22 and June 10-21, 2019 at the IMPD Training Academy with field certification occurring April 25-30, July 18-23 or July 21-26, 2019.
