Details:

The FBI Kansas City Field Office is seeking information regarding an assault which occurred on April 3, 2018, at the Metropolitan Community College, Penn Valley Campus, Kansas City, Missouri.  The victim, identified as a female Muslim student, was assaulted at approximately 3:15 p.m. by an unknown male suspect while departing the Humanities Building stairwell area.  Following class, the student was walking down the stairs when she heard an unknown male voice make a derogatory statement.  The student turned and was struck in the face, causing her to fall down the stairs.  The student reported the incident to the campus police and received medical attention.
