Policy and Education Program
A primary focus of ORO’s Policy and Education Program (P&E) is the education and support of facility Research Compliance Officers (RCOs). P&E performs remote and on-site assessments of RCO auditing programs, provides tailored technical assistance to RCOs, and identifies good practices for performing and reporting required audits. P&E provides national teleconferences for RCOs and self-study guides for new RCOs regarding VA policy. P&E also updates ORO’s RCO auditing requirements.
