Dr. Shane McNamee speaks with a Veteran patient
The Quality of Care website exists to give Veterans, their families and caregivers information they need to make educated health care decisions.
Among other things, this website includes information about:
- VA's focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered health care
- The ways VA is working to improve quality, promote research, and support Veterans
- Understanding conditions, diseases, and doctor's instructions
- VA medical center's performance in areas like heart attack care and preventing infections in hospitals
Our overall goal is to provide information to help Veterans play an active role in their health care. By becoming more involved, Veterans can help ensure that they are getting the high-quality care they deserve.
