Winter Storm To Impact The Central And Eastern U.S.; Inclement Pattern Over The West

A low pressure system will bring heavy snow and ice from portions of the mid Mississippi Valley and Midwest east across the Mid Atlantic and Northeast U.S. this weekend. 1/3 of the wave spectrum.   Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.6 inches centered north of Lake Superior will
slide eastward tonight into Friday. Winds will become light and
variable overnight.

Low pressure of 30.0 inches should then move from the Southern
Plains to the southeastern part of the country Saturday into
Sunday. This should result in a period of east to northeast winds
over Lake Michigan.
