National Public Lands Day is turning 25!
Outdoor enthusiasts coast to coast will turn out on September 22
Enjoying their favorite outdoor places
And volunteering their time
We had 300 million visitors to our National Parks last year, half a billion to our public lands.
These national treasures are being loved to death. We must all play a role in conserving and protecting them.
We must fulfill the conservation ethic Teddy Roosevelt instilled as a bedrock of our nation.
This year’s focus is resilience and restoration
You can find volunteer opportunities near you
To help give public lands the care they need
We all love our public lands. Now let’s get out there and help preserve and protect them.

America’s public lands give us so much. National Public Lands Day is our chance to give something back. On September 22, we invite you to enjoy the outdoors and maybe even offer a few hours of your time to help clean up and fix up our national treasures.
