Supreme Court Building and Grounds Jurisdiction

The Supreme Court Building and Grounds jurisdiction of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is charged with the care of structural and mechanical systems in the Supreme Court Building and the operation and maintenance of the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building (TMFJB).

The AOC Supreme Court Building and Grounds (SCBG) staff provides a variety of professional and skilled trades supporting the Supreme Court's mission including engineering, planning, project management, contract management, computer-aided design, facilities operations, landscape management and electrical, structural and mechanical work.

The SCBG staff also operates and maintains the TMFJB providing facilities operations management, engineering, planning, project management, contract management and computer-aided design. Facility operations and maintenance is provided by contract.
