National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC): Cyberbullying
The National Crime Prevention Council, through funding from OVC, offers resources including fact sheets and four podcasts about general cyberbullying information, taking action in schools, creating community change, and how teens feel about cyberbullying.
Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN operates a 24-hour telephone hotline (1-800-656-HOPE) and an Online Hotline for victims of sexual assault. The secure web-based hotline provides a safe, secure, and anonymous place for victims to get help online. RAINN also works to promote education and prevention of sexual assault, compiles and shares links to Legal Resources, including the State Mandatory Regulations regarding children and the elderly.

VictimConnect serves victims of any crime in the United States. Trained specialists are available to help you locate referrals for mental health counseling, financial compensation, legal services, civil justice options, support groups, crime reporting, identity theft recovery and more.

Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS)
CMHS works in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in overseeing national efforts to provide emergency mental health services to survivors of Presidentially declared disasters.
Department of Defense (DoD): Safe Helpline
The Department of Defense (DoD) Safe Helpline is a confidential crisis support service for adult service members of the DoD community affected by sexual assault. Operated by the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), the helpline provides live, one-on-one expert advice and information 24/7.
International Terrorism Victim Expense Reimbursement Program (ITVERP)
If you believe that you or someone you know has been a victim of international terrorism, help may be available. ITVERP is a program authorized by Congress to reimburse eligible direct victims of acts of international terrorism that occur outside the United States for expenses associated with that victimization.
National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA)
NCEA is a resource for public and private agencies, professionals, service providers, and individuals interested in elder abuse prevention information, training, technical assistance, and research.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Disaster Distress Helpline
The Disaster Distress Helpline is dedicated to providing year-round disaster crisis counseling. This toll free, multilingual, crisis support service is available 24/7 via telephone 800–985–5990 (for Spanish, press 2) and SMS (text 'TalkWithUs', or for Spanish, text 'Hablanos', to 66746) to residents in the U.S. and its territories who are experiencing emotional distress related to natural or man-made disasters.
Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office
The VOICE Office was established to serve the needs of crime victims and their families who have been affected by crimes committed by individuals with a nexus to immigration. The website provides a variety of useful information, including a dedicated toll-free VOICE Hotline to answer questions from victims (1-855-48-VOICE) and assistance signing-up to receive automated custody status information about an individual in custody (DHS-VINE).

American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP)
AACAP offers information as a public service, distributing fact sheets for parents and caregivers and research and guidelines for psychiatric staff. The Web site offers articles for helping children cope with trauma, stress, and disasters. Information is also available in Spanish.
American Psychiatric Association
The American Psychiatric Association works to ensure humane care and effective treatment for all persons with mental disorders, including mental retardation and substance-related disorders.
American Red Cross
In addition to domestic disaster relief, the American Red Cross offers compassionate services in five other areas: community services that help the needy; support and comfort for military members and their families; the collection, processing and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products; educational programs that promote health and safety; and international relief and development programs.
Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
ADL helps victims of discrimination or bias-motivated violence achieve redress of justifiable grievances through mediation, administration, or judicial means. It also provides information and training to law enforcement agencies on responding to victims of bias crimes.
Center for Restorative Justice and Peacemaking
The Center for Restorative Justice and Peacemaking is committed to the development of community-based responses to crime and violence that strengthen social harmony and individual healing through dialogue, repair of harm, and peace-building by providing technical assistance, training, and research in support of restorative dialogue practices.
Identity Theft Resource Center
ITRC is a nonprofit consumer information, research, and advocacy organization that offers public education, prevention tips, victim information guides, and other resources, including: Identity Theft: Stolen Futures-an educational program to teach defensive identity theft consumer behavior for teens. A short and engaging video about identity theft is available in multiple formats in the Teen Space.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
MADD has hundreds of chapters that assist victims of drunk driving crashes at the local level. Its Web site offers statistics, activism information, materials in Spanish, and program awareness resources. MADD recently launched a 24-hour hotline to lend support to victims of drunk driving and their friends and family. You can call 1-877-MADD-HELP for emotional support, guidance, and referrals.
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
NCMEC works to locate and recover missing children and raises public awareness about ways to prevent child abduction, molestation, and sexual exploitation. NCMEC offers a 24-hour, toll-free hotline,1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678, TDD: 800-826-7653), a CyberTipline to collect leads from the public, and a Web site that details all of their services, including their LOCATER® program for distributing resources to speed the dissemination of posters of missing children.
National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC)
NCVC offers advocacy, victim services, referrals, training, and a virtual library. NCVC programs include a legislative database of state and federal victims’ rights statutes and information on the Victims’ Bill of Rights.
NCVC also tracks the following legislative issues relating to crime victims: clemency, community notification, constitutional amendments, dating violence, elder fraud, identity theft, interstate compact on parole and probation, parole, payment of forensic exams, notoriety for profit "Son of Sam" laws, spousal rape, stalking, victims’ bills of rights, and violence against women.
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV)
NCADV is a grassroots membership organization providing technical assistance, networking, and support to programs and state coalitions serving battered women and their children. It also provides information and referrals to the general public and the media.
National Crime Victim Bar Association (NCVBA)
NCVBA educates attorneys, victim service providers, and the general public about civil legal remedies for crime victims. It also refers crime victims to civil attorneys in their local area.

Staff provide callers with crisis intervention, information about domestic violence, and referrals to local programs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Telephone assistance is available in many languages, including Spanish.
National Helpline for Men Who Were Sexually Abused or Assaulted
Trained advocates are available 24/7 to chat with men who have experienced sexual abuse or assault or with people seeking to help a loved one. Access the one-on-one chat for services such as crisis support and information and referrals. Or join a support group facilitated by a trained counselor. This free and anonymous service is provided by 1in6, in partnership with the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN).
National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA)
NICWA is a national organization focused specifically on the tribal capacity to prevent child abuse and neglect.
National Organization for Victims Assistance (NOVA)
NOVA advocates for victims’ rights, assists service providers, provides direct victim assistance, offers training, and coordinates a National Crisis Response Team and the National Crime Victim Information and Referral Hotline.
National Organization of Parents of Murdered Children, Inc. (POMC)
POMC provides the ongoing emotional support needed to help parents and other survivors facilitate the reconstruction of a "new life" and to promote healthy grief resolution.
Native Elder Health Care Resource Center
The Center is a national resource center for older American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians, with special emphasis on culturally competent health care.
