- Building Bridges Between Child and Adult Mental Health Systems (52 min.) – August 31, 2016 addresses the rationale for including adult mental health systems as strong partners in Healthy Transitions communities. It also explores some of the challenges to that partnership and provides examples of partnerships in communities in the United States and elsewhere.
- Exploring Service Delivery Models (61 min.) – February 3, 2016 shares grantee experiences with implementing service models and highlights many key considerations.
Effective Social Marketing Engagement
Increase awareness about early indicators of serious mental health concerns and promote youth and young adults’ participation in services.

Young Adult Mental Health Topics
Explore key mental health topics related to youth and young adults between the ages of 16 and 25—an age group particularly vulnerable to “falling through the cracks” between systems.
- Early Intervention in Psychosis: Moving From Foundational Principles to Innovation (61 min.) – May 26, 2016 covers core principles, implementation challenges, and opportunities for innovation, cultural humility, and youth involvement.
- Game Change! Young Adults and System of Care (53 min.) – April 27, 2015 provides an overview of the challenges for this age group; innovative strategies to improve engagement and access to services; and guidance for building a culturally responsive, young-adult driven process.

- Supporting Young Adults With Lived Experience (72 min.) – March 20, 2015 outlines areas where youth can and should be engaged, and discusses ways to support young adults with lived-experience who are hired as part of the Healthy Transitions team.
Family Engagement
Encourage families to play a central role in supporting youth and young adults with serious mental health challenges.
- The Importance of Engaging Families of Youth and Young Adults With Behavioral Health Challenges (68 min.) – December 15, 2016 outlines key principles when working with family members and other caregivers of youth and young adults with behavioral health care needs. It also describes related transition scenarios and offers strategies that family leaders and family members find helpful for navigating the transition process.
- Game Change! Focus on Families: Engaging Young Adults and Their Families (51 min.) – June 1, 2015 explores how parents, families, and family organizations can support young adults.
