Commercial Targeting and Analysis Center
The Commercial Targeting and Analysis Center (CTAC) as the operational extension of One-U.S. Government at the Border, functions to facilitate information sharing and leverage the collective resources of participating government agencies to prevent, deter, interdict and investigate violations of U.S. import and export laws.
The CTAC streamlines and enhances federal efforts with a focus on the importation, exportation and trafficking of articles that pose a risk to import health and safety, involve environmental crimes, illicit wildlife and cultural property and alcohol and tobacco trafficking and related revenue evasion.
Through the CTAC, Federal agencies collaborate to protect the American public from harm caused by unsafe imported products by enhancing communication, improving information-sharing and reducing redundant inspection activities.
