The Grants Unit provides oversight and support for the New Jersey Department of Health’s (NJDOH) entire grant system to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and promote the efficient use of NJDOH resources. Each division awarding grants establishes the specific criteria for its grant programs, evaluates and selects the applications to be funded, and monitors grantee performance.
For information regarding available grants, please visit our online Directory of Grant Programs. Questions may be directed to the contact listed for each program.
Applications are submitted and awards are managed through our online grant system, the System for Managing Grants Electronically (SAGE). Technical questions may be directed to the SAGE Help Desk.
Department grants must be administered in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and the terms and conditions of the award, including state Treasury publications and the federal OMB’s Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (2 C.F.R. 200).
