    (College Station, Texas), Nov. 20, 2018 - U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Gary Six reminds Texas producers that December 7, 2018, is the final day for seed cotton producers who want to participate in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2018 crop to submit applications. The signup period began July 30, 2018.

    COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, Nov. 6, 2018 – Texas Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Gary Six today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will begin mailing ballots to eligible agricultural producers for the 2018 FSA county committee elections on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Producers must return ballots to their local FSA offices by Dec. 3, 2018, to ensure their vote is counted.

    (COLLEGE STATION, Texas) -- Oct. 23, 2018 – USDA Texas Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director, Gary Six, announced that more than $296 million will be paid to Texas farms that enrolled in Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) for 2017 market downturns. Additionally, Texas FSA will distribute more than $105 million in Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) rental payments to landowners for their commitment to conservation stewardship.
