Work with FSA:  Supporting Farmers and Ranchers Through Production and Financial Management Training

April 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM EST

Are you an organization or university interested in learning about how to become an authorized borrower training vendor with the Farm Service Agency (FSA)? Join and learn more about FSA's Borrower Training Vendor requirements.  FSA works with vendors to provide local and national borrower training options to FSA borrowers.  As part of a loan agreement, borrowers are often required to complete training in production, financial management, or both.  This is to help borrowers develop and improve important skills to help them be successful farm and ranch operators (the law directs FSA to determine a borrower's need for training and require it when appropriate).  The training helps FSA borrowers gain knowledge, address problems or operational weakness and plan for financial success.  This webinar will provide an overview of the vendor application process and curriculum requirements for applying to FSA to perform this service.  This webinar is open to the public; the audience will be in listen-only mode but questions can be submitted via the chat feature in Ready Talk.
