SBA's Strategic Sustainability Performance Plan offers a blueprint and a framework for the agency to execute its mission in a manner that preserves the environment and demonstrates a commitment to creating a clean energy economy.

In FY 2016 and the first half of FY 2017, SBA achieved significant progress toward the goals outlined by Executive Order 13514. Notably, SBA achieved a 12.6% reduction in Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions from FY 2015 levels, and reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50% from FY 2015.
