The National Clinical Care Commission (NCCC) will conduct its second meeting on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET. This meeting will be held virtually and registration is now open to the public.

ODPHP hosted the first NCCC in-person public meeting in October 2018. The meeting featured presentations about major federal efforts in diabetes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Indian Health Service (IHS), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).…

Cervical Health Awareness Month in January is a chance to share information about how women can protect themselves from HPV (human papillomavirus) and cervical cancer. HPV is a very common infection that spreads through sexual activity, and it causes almost all cases of cervical cancer.

The National Physical Activity Plan Alliance hosted an informational webinar about the updated Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans on November 13th, 2018.
