Lake Effect Snow; Calm Before The Storms

A deep low north of Maine will keep the lake effect snow-machine cranked downwind of Lakes Erie and Ontario today. By Friday, two storms are expected to impact parts of the country. Low pressure will develop over the southern Plains and progress to the Mid-Atlantic seaboard by Sunday for a widespread rain/snow/mix event.
