Settled in 1733 by James Oglethorpe, Georgia was the 13th colony formed. Since then, Georgia has overcome hardship and become one of the top places to do business in the country.
Atlanta was the home of civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr. and hosted the 1996 Summer Olympics.
